JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Wounded Warrior Project™ (WWP) announced today a series of WWP 8K Runs taking place in three U.S. cities to benefit Wounded Warriors.
In Jacksonville, Fla.; San Antonio, Tex.; and Franklin, Tenn. this fall, runners are invited to experience the camaraderie and team spirit of training while fundraising to support Wounded Warriors during the WWP 8K Runs. The proceeds of each WWP 8K Run directly benefit the myriad of free programs WWP offers Wounded Warriors nationwide and overseas. These programs are uniquely structured to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment and engagement. A WWP 1K Fun Run is also offered in each city for participants aged 12 and under.

First place male and female times overall will receive a special award, while first place male and female finishers in each age division will receive a custom award.
