Temple readies for High Holy Days with events

ImageCan you believe it’s the High Holy Days already?

To help you get into the “spirit” of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Rabbi Cohen is leading a High Holy Days Workshop on Tuesday, September 4 at 7 p.m.  “This session will be discussion based, guided by the wisdom of our tradition and the experiences of each other’s lives,” Rabbi Cohen said.

The September edition of the Messenger is all about the High Holy Days here at Temple.  A complete schedule is included inside.  We’ve also included our High Holy Days FAQ section with information on tickets, parking, seating and more!

On Saturday, September 8, we will observe S’lichot here at Temple with our friends from The Jacksonville Jewish Center.
Dessert and learning begin at 8:30 p.m. and worship starts at 10:30 p.m

This year, we go to LeGrands Seafood and Steak for Rosh Hashanah Lunch.  Details are on page 6, or you can call the Temple office for more information.

Rabbi Lief will lead Shabbat at the Beaches on Friday, September 14 starting with a
pre-neg at 5:30 p.m.  Following worship, all are invited to join Rabbi Lief and Becca for Shabbat dinner at Carraba’s in Jacksonville Beach. Call the Temple office at (904) 733-7078 for more information.
