The World Dairy Expo Dairy Product Contest is the largest contest in North America and is where the food industry goes to submit new products into the competition before launching them to the public.
The Jacksonville students placed second out of 705 entries for the City Kidz Branded Ice Cream called “Viva Vanilla,” which can now be marketed and sold locally.
Pastor Clinton Bush started the City Kidz Food Science Education Lab as a partnership with Cornell University’s Food Science Department and business executives in the food industry as an after-school program for local students.
